A prestigious luxury hotel is seeking an experienced and service-oriented
Room Service Sales Agent
to manage in-room dining orders with efficiency, elegance, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a background in luxury hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to enhance the guest experience through personalized and timely service.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming room service calls.
Take accurate food and beverage orders while offering recommendations and upselling menu items to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue.
Enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system with attention to detail and order specifications.
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Stay updated on menu items, specials, dietary options, and availability.
Handle special guest requests, including dietary restrictions, celebrations, and VIP arrangements.
Maintain clear communication with room service staff to track and follow up on all orders.
Resolve guest inquiries and complaints efficiently, escalating concerns when necessary.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized call center and room service area.
Keep detailed logs of guest requests, feedback, and service records.
Ensure adherence to brand standards, service protocols, and hygiene policies.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
High school diploma or relevant qualification in hospitality
(required).
2-3 years of experience
in a similar role within a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality environment (required).
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, menu descriptions, and order handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant phone manner.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Proficient in using POS systems and basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
Strong attention to detail and guest service orientation.
Fluent in English; additional languages such as Arabic, French, or Russian are an advantage.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
