Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Structural Draftsman with strong expertise in AutoCAD to
join our lifting team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing lifting plans and
structural drawings to support heavy lifting operations at site.
Responsibilities:
Prepare lifting plans (Critical & Standard) and structural drawings using AutoCAD. Interpret engineering sketches, load charts, and lifting procedure to create practical
drawings.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, rigging requirements, and project lifting
procedures.
Revise and update drawings based on engineering inputs and site requirements. Coordinate with engineers and site teams for smooth execution of lifting activities.
Requirements:
Diploma / ITI in Civil / Mechanical / Structural Drafting (engineering background
preferred).
4-5 years' experience in drafting, preferably in construction / oil & gas / heavy lifting
projects.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (Structural) with proven lifting plan preparation. Knowledge of lifting equipment, rigging techniques, and safety standards. Detail-oriented with good communication and coordination skills.
Preferred:
Experience in heavy lifting operations. Familiarity with international lifting standards (BS, ASME, OSHA).
