Jascon Engineering W.L.L is currently seeking a

skilled and safety-conscious Rigging Draughtsman

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preparing detailed rigging plans and drawings using AutoCAD, with a strong understanding of lifting and rigging practices in the Oil & Gas industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare rigging plans, lifting layout drawings, and detailed sketches for heavy lifting activities. Create accurate and detailed 2D drawings using AutoCAD based on engineering inputs and site requirements. Collaborate with project engineers and site supervisors to understand rigging requirements. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and client specifications. Assist in developing method statements related to lifting and rigging operations. Review and revise drawings based on project feedback or field adjustments. Maintain drawing records, revisions, and filing systems in an organized manner.

Requirements:

Diploma or certificate in Drafting, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Proficient in AutoCAD

- creating technical drawings and rigging plans.

Rigging experience is highly preferred.

Familiarity with lifting gear, rigging techniques, and HSE standards. Good communication skills and ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred:

Certification in basic rigging or lifting (e.g., TUV/LEEA) is an advantage. Knowledge of 3D modeling is a plus.

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
