Job Description
Location : RLIC, Qatar
Duration : 5 month extendable
Qualification: AutoCAD, 2-3 Yrs of Experience in Oil & Gas.
Rigging Experience highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop 2D and 3D rigging drawings, lifting plans, and crane positioning layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent. Prepare lifting arrangement drawings for static and dynamic lifts involving cranes, skids, and rigging gear (slings, shackles, spreader beams, etc.). Work with rigging/lifting engineers to develop critical lift plans and method statements. Interpret load charts, rigging gear ratings, and structural capacities for accurate drawing representation. Assist in selection and visualization of lifting points, center of gravity (COG), sling angles, and lifting zones. Ensure compliance with industry standards (API, ASME B30, LOLER, OSHA, etc.) and company HSE requirements. Maintain drawing revisions, records, and as-built documentation in a controlled format. Support site teams and riggers with technical visualizations and on-site modifications. Participate in risk assessments, lift planning reviews, and toolbox talks as required.
