Job Description

As the Restaurant Manager at Sushi Art Restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant's operations, ensuring a seamless and exceptional dining experience for our valued guests. Your leadership skills, business acumen, and passion for hospitality will be instrumental in driving the success and growth of the restaurant. You will lead and inspire the team, manage day-to-day activities, and uphold the highest standards of service, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:



Team Leadership: Recruit, train, mentor, and manage front-of-house and kitchen staff to foster a positive and productive work environment. Guest Experience: Ensure exceptional customer service, address guest feedback, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere. Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food handling standards. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, analyze P&L statements, control costs, and drive revenue growth. Inventory & Vendor Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and negotiate favorable contracts. Staff Development: Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to support employee growth and retention. Restaurant Presentation: Maintain cleanliness and visual appeal of all guest-facing and operational areas. Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate on marketing initiatives and local promotions to boost visibility and sales. Performance Metrics: Track and improve key KPIs including average ticket size, audit scores, delivery prep time, and employee turnover.

Qualifications:



Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team to achieve excellence. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and stakeholders effectively. Business Acumen: Sound understanding of restaurant financials, inventory management, and marketing strategies. Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and ability to address operational challenges with creativity and efficiency. Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on restaurant needs. Previous Experience: Significant experience in restaurant management or a related field is required. Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Knowledge of Japanese Cuisine (preferred): Understanding of sushi and Japanese culinary offerings is advantageous.
