Job Description

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including the kitchen, dining area, and bar (if applicable).

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Set schedules and assign duties to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for employees.

Ensure incoming staff adheres to company policies. Provide daily briefs to staff. Train, and mentor new team members.

Creating a safe and inclusive work environment, free from any form of harassment.

Ensuring that the provided recipes on the menu, strictly following the prescribed measurements in grams, as it not only upholds the standard of culinary excellence and significantly reducing the potential for ingredient wastage, thereby fostering responsible and efficient management.

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and feedback.

Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures.

Interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience.

Develop and manage the restaurant budget.

Monitor and control costs, including food and labor expenses.

Implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

Oversee inventory levels and ordering of food, beverages, and supplies. and identify measures to reduce waste.

Set menu prices based on food costs, market trends, and competition.

Ensure the quality of food, beverages, and service meets or exceeds established standards.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Developing marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.

Create staff schedules and assign table sections to wait staff.

Coordinate daily operations in the Front of the House and Back of the House

Handle customer complaints efficiently and accurately

Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to enhance productivity.

Ensuring that every staff member is treated with respect, regardless of their background or identity, and to take immediate action to address and prevent any incidents of harassment, discrimination, or bias.

Maintain and enhance the restaurant's reputation.

Generate detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.

Recommend strategies to broaden the restaurant's audience, such as offering discounts and utilizing social media advertising.
