Job Summary:
The Assistant Restaurant Manager supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining high food and safety standards, and driving profitability. This role involves staff supervision, inventory management, and assisting in administrative tasks to ensure smooth restaurant functioning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Management:

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations (e.g., food handling, cleanliness).
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
2. Staff Supervision & Training:
  • Supervise and motivate front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) staff.
  • Assist in scheduling shifts, managing attendance, and handling payroll.
  • Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance.
  • Foster a positive work environment and teamwork culture.
3. Customer Service:
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional service and a memorable dining experience.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback and build loyalty.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally.
