We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations of a premium bakery and patisserie cafe. The ideal candidate will have strong operational expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires someone who can manage front-of-house and back-of-house teams, optimize workflows, and uphold high standards in food quality, hygiene, and guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to brand standards.
Manage staff schedules, shift planning, and table allocation to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
Monitor product display, food quality, and presentation, ensuring consistency across all offerings.
Implement and maintain hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with UAE regulations.
Team Management
Lead, train, and mentor a team of service staff, baristas, and kitchen personnel.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance team efficiency.
Foster a positive work culture and ensure high levels of employee engagement and professionalism.
Customer Service Excellence
Ensure a warm, welcoming, and high-quality experience for all guests.
Address customer feedback and resolve issues professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Monitor service standards and continuously look for improvements to enhance guest experience.
Financial & Administrative Duties
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to achieve revenue targets.
Monitor inventory levels, place orders with suppliers, and manage stock effectively.
Review daily sales reports, manage petty cash, and support overall financial accuracy.
Develop strategies to increase footfall, revenue, and customer retention.
Marketing & Menu Support
Collaborate with the culinary and marketing teams to support new product launches, promotions, and seasonal menus.
Ensure proper display and merchandising of bakery and patisserie products.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant or cafe management (bakery/patisserie experience preferred).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Solid understanding of F&B operations, food safety, and hygiene standards.
Experience in POS systems, inventory management, and basic financial reporting.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational challenges gracefully.
