Job Description

Recruiting, interviewing and training staff to follow restaurant procedures Natural leadership skills to help them oversee the staff successfully. Maintaining safety and food quality standards Keeping customers happy, getting their feedback on the experience and handling complaints Organizing schedules, keeping track of employees' hours and recording payroll data Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations Supervising daily shift operations, including front- and back-of-house restaurant operations Controlling operational costs and identifying ways to cut waste

Responsibilities



Manage and keep up smooth restaurant operations Supervise both kitchen staff and waitstaff, providing necessary feedback Write daily budget reports on both revenue and costs Communicate with diners and mitigate potential conflicts Organize and take stock of restaurant supplies Maintain weekly and monthly payroll for staff

Skills and qualifications



Proven work experience in a restaurant setting Demonstrated customer service skills Understanding of financial management Strong knowledge of restaurant management software Ability to memorize and explain the restaurant's menu Willingness to work flexible hours Management and administration skills. Problem-solving skills. Organisational skills. Interpersonal and teamworking skills. The ability to prioritise and juggle multiple responsibilities.
