Restaurant Cashier/Host should greet guests, handle all the duties for processing all orders and payments in our restaurant. In this position, you will run credit and debit cards, make change for cash payments, manage all 3rd party delivery applications with dispatching correct food to the drivers, and provide general customer service. You will also greet customers as they come in, thank them when leaving, assist servers with maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the restaurant, and resolve any complaint to the best of your ability, or properly escalate to your supervisor. Responsibilities:
Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
Manage 3rd party Delivery apps and orders
Collect payments whether in cash or credit
Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets
Seat guests if dine in
Help Servers with orders and clearing tables
Cross-sell products and introduce new ones
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
Consolidate and dispatch orders for delivery
Close out the till and consolidate all payments with balanced cash at the end of shift.
