Role Summary
IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a professional Reservations Agent to join the voco Dubai team. In this role, you will handle guest reservations, manage room inventory, and provide outstanding customer service to ensure a seamless booking experience. You will also work closely with sales, revenue management, and front office teams to optimize occupancy and support the hotel's revenue goals.

What You'll Do

• Manage incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online booking channels
• Assist guests with selecting suitable accommodations, providing accurate information on room types, rates, and availability
• Process bookings promptly and ensure compliance with hotel policies and brand standards
• Maximize occupancy by monitoring room blocks and managing inventory efficiently
• Apply rate structures correctly and promote upselling opportunities to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Handle group bookings, ensuring coordination with sales, banquet, and operations teams to meet requirements
• Maintain accurate guest data and reservation records in the hotel's database
• Collaborate with front office and housekeeping to ensure smooth guest arrivals and room readiness
• Support sales and marketing initiatives by promoting packages and special offers during the reservation process
• Ensure high-quality service standards are upheld, addressing inquiries and complaints with professionalism
• Stay updated on promotions, policies, and system updates to provide accurate assistance to guests

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
• 2-4 years of reservations or front office experience in hospitality, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Proficiency in hotel reservations software; Opera system knowledge is an advantage
• Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
• Team player with strong customer orientation and problem-solving skills
• Presentable personality, reflecting the professionalism of the hospitality industry
