Reservations Agent
Reports To: Reception Manager
Supervises: N/A
Overview: The Reservations Agent manages all incoming booking requests, providing precise and courteous communication to secure reservations and capture essential guest information.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all incoming phone, online, and email reservation requests.
  • Input reservations accurately into the system, noting special occasions, allergies, and preferences.
  • Confidently explain restaurant policies (e.g., cancellation, dress code, tasting menu requirements).
  • Manage the waitlist and call to confirm reservations as needed.
  • Assist with outbound calls for marketing or event promotions as directed.
  • Provide administrative support to the reception team (e.g., updating contact lists).
  • Maintain a professional and helpful tone in all guest interactions.
Requirements:
  • Excellent phone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Patient and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of the restaurant's menu and offerings.
