We're looking for a Research Associate skilled in social media research (including social intelligence). This position is based in Dubai, but we are open to fully-remote or hybrid.
About the job
We're looking for someone who's had a range of experience in research, preferably in social media research. This could be social listening, research or social intelligence, and is someone who knows the possibilities and limitations of the craft.
Ideally, you've worked with a global social listening company in a similar role, or with a research agency (or other type of agency) or client side using social research methodologies.

What you'll do at D/A
We're looking for an experienced social listening researcher - but someone who has used a variety of tools and understands the power of customisation in the workflow. You'll report to the VP of Research & Insights, but you'll also work closely with our product, customer success and BD teams.
Specifically, the role will encompass the following key deliverables:
Working with ourbusinessdevelopment and client success team on briefs;
Setting up research tasks and inputting into responses to briefs;
Liaising with product team to ensure that queries and results will be within expectations.;
Conceptualising and executing qualitative and quantitive research assignments;
Working with the product team on reviews and improvements to the technology;
Attending client and customer meetings when needed to discuss results, setup and capabilities in the research team;
Utilise our technology to create insight for customers and to oversee reporting;
Create and develop client/customer reports.
What we need from you.
Ideally you'll have worked in a research function in a global social monitoring/listening agency and are looking to make an impact in a 400mn person niche (the Arabic language). Arabic isn't a necessity, but we'd love it if you could speak it.

Experience with social listening products;
An understanding of query structures and visualisations;
Understanding the impact of social research methods and how they can impact brands and governments;
Demonstrated understanding of the powers of social intelligence;
