We are expanding our production team and looking for a skilled Upholstery Professional to help us deliver flawless, new furniture pieces to our clients.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Upholstery Professional to join our team. You will be responsible for upholstering a variety of custom furniture pieces with precision, following design specifications and quality standards. This role requires collaboration with designers and production teams, a strong work ethic, and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Upholster sofas, chairs, ottomans, beds, and other custom furniture according to design and quality standards.
Cut, sew, and assemble upholstery materials such as fabric, leather, and vinyl.
Ensure precise pattern matching and clean finishing on all upholstered pieces.
Collaborate effectively with designers, craftsmen, and other production team members to meet deadlines.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace; assist with general workshop cleaning and upkeep.
Follow safety protocols and help ensure a safe working environment.
Support team members with other production-related tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Proven upholstery experience, preferably in furniture manufacturing or custom furniture production.
Skilled in fabric cutting, sewing, stapling, and working with different upholstery materials.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and design specifications.
Excellent time management skills and ability to work under deadlines.
Physically fit to lift and handle heavy furniture pieces safely.
Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vocational training or certification in upholstery or related field.
Experience with industrial sewing machines and upholstery tools.
Passion for furniture design, craftsmanship, and continuous learning.
