This position is located at our corporate office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Overview:

The Regional Director of Sales \xe2\x80\x93 Middle East and Africa reports directly to the Head of Sales EMEA, representing Aman in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Bahrein, and all MEA markets. This role is responsible for the creation, implementation, and execution of the sales strategy for all key segments within the designated regions, for communicating and aligning with the overall global sales strategy, and specific responsibility for the delivery of room revenue and occupancy as per targets. Responsibilities:
  • Creation and implementation of a sales action plan and budget for the Leisure, HNWI, MICE and Corporate accounts.
  • Represent all Aman properties from a sales perspective across the specific markets attributed and maintain close relationships with all key decision makers in all key segments.
  • Responsible for achieving rooms revenue and occupancy targets through development and execution of a regional sales strategy.
  • Devote full attention to the business development and solicitation of business opportunities with sound analytics, plans and events supported by return on investments information.
  • Assess marketing opportunities and trends that compliment Aman\xe2\x80\x99s potential target audience and gather market intelligence on clients and competitor information.
  • Organize regular sales trips locally and overseas to cover targeted sales activities.
  • Conduct a minimum of 15 sales calls weekly and submit a weekly report via Nextguest or equivalent system including summary of key appointments, leads and return on investment.
  • Sales calls to target existing and new accounts including but not limited to Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Protocol Offices, Ministries, MICE and Creative Marketing agencies, corporate accounts, wedding and incentive planners as well as HNWIs guests and potential partners such as airlines and tourist boards.
  • Organize 2 annual sales missions as well as individual GMs/DOSMs visits to the markets.
  • Update and maintain consistent information on all accounts and meeting information in the company CRM platform. Log short and long-term sales and marketing activities and strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with property teams through regular dialogue and proactively design and implement short-, medium- and long-term tactical strategies to drive business to their hotels.
  • Work closely with Corporate Office teams, responding on timely manner to projects, submitting reports, and completing administrative tasks when requested.
  • Negotiate and implement annual Sales and Marketing agreements with key partners for the hotel collection.
  • Assist trade partners with organizing FAM stays at Aman properties, and host familiarization visits to selected resorts from key markets of the Region.
  • Assess b2b2c, b2b and b2c marketing opportunities and trends that complement Aman\xe2\x80\x99s potential target audience and gather market intelligence on clients and competitor information.
  • Submit creative new ideas to corporate marketing and properties teams to better attract Middle East business.
Qualifications:
  • University degree in Sales & Marketing or related field
  • Must have 10 year of sales experience in the luxury travel industry in the GCC countries
  • Must have previous experience as Sales Director, ideally in a regional or corporate capacity
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required
  • Understanding expectations and trends of luxury and lifestyle travellers
  • Able to demonstrate strong existing relationships with HNWI clients and luxury travel partners in the GCC with a positive track record of sales performance
  • Well-developed negotiating skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable presentation
  • Highly self-motivated and hands-on with sales operations
