You will be joining the Application team, which is dedicated to providing expert technical advice and solutions to our customers. You will work with colleagues from different nationalities located in multiple locations across the world. What will your day-to-day look like?
We are looking for an Application Manager for our Regional Application Center to strengthen our team for “Natural Food Colors and Coloring Foods” in Dubai. You will support our customers and our sales team across the Middle East and Africa in all technical questions regarding our natural food colors and coloring foods in several food applications. Your main tasks will be:

• Technical leadership and advise to our customers in collaboration with Sales
• Product development with our customers
• Execution of technical trainings, both for internal colleagues of other departments as well as for customers
• Perform application trials for marketing material in collaboration with regional marketing

Experience and skills required
You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent. We expect you to be team-oriented person who can collaborate effectively with colleagues across different functions. You are both keen on putting your technical skills at work, as well as relate to our customers and understand their needs. Further, we look for someone who can bring in the following skills and experience:

• Work experience in the Food Industry (min. 5 years)
• Open minded, flexible, perceptive
• Fun to develop food recipes and fun to work together with customers and colleagues
• Self-reliant and self-driven with a positive can-do-attitude
• Strong commercial mindset, strong interest in keeping up to date with market dynamics and trends identifying business opportunities for the organization
• Good skills in oral and written English are needed due to the international work environment
• You like to engage externally and are ready to travel for customer visits, trade shows, etc. up to 20-30%
