We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic

Recreation Instructor

to lead and coordinate a variety of recreational, fitness, and wellness activities for guests of all ages. This includes group exercise classes, aqua aerobics, wellness events, and specialized programs designed for both youth and senior guests. The successful candidate will bring creativity, fitness expertise, and a guest-focused mindset, with fluency in Arabic and a strong commitment to safety and engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:Administrative Functions:

Maintain detailed records via logbooks and digital systems Respond promptly to guest and team inquiries with professionalism Foster positive guest and colleague relationships across departments

Operational Tasks:

Oversee the upkeep, safety, and readiness of recreation areas and equipment Deliver a range of classes and activities, including pool-based and outdoor sessions Plan and update weekly fitness schedules and wellness campaigns Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless operation Conduct fitness assessments and offer personalized training sessions Supervise part-time instructors and volunteer staff when necessary Manage inventory and liaise with purchasing teams for equipment needs Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and brand service standards

Additional Contributions:

Maintain a polished and professional image at all times Stay informed of current trends through training and development Assist in promotional efforts to increase program participation Take on any other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or degree in Fitness, Sports Science, or a similar field (required)

3-5 years of professional experience as a Recreation Instructor in luxury hotels or premium hospitality environments.

Recognized certification as a Fitness Instructor (internationally accredited)

Active First Aid and CPR certification (mandatory)

Excellent fitness level and ability to lead diverse activities, including aquatic and outdoor training Fluent in both English and Arabic with strong interpersonal communication skills Proficiency in MS Office and basic scheduling applications Experience working with both youth and senior programming is a plus

Must be currently based in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable visa
