We are looking for an enthusiastic Reconciliation Officer to join our team at IIQAF. In this role, you will be a key member of our reconciling team and perform reconciliations for all income and activities related to daily financial operations. You will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and the Business Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and recording in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Reconcile all daily incoming financial transactions in our accounting system.
Research and resolve complex reconciliation issues.
Investigate customer refunds and credits, interacting with customers and business parties to ensure proper resolution.
Monitor, research, and reconcile internal and external account discrepancies.
Follow up on discrepancies by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Outline the process of audit trails to ensure interpreted documents are reconciled for accuracy.
Document and update reconciliation procedures and processes in compliance with company policy.
Protect and maintain the privacy of confidential information.
Qualifications:
At least 1 years of experience in reconciling accounts or accounting activities.
Advanced knowledge of metrics, trends, and analytics related to reconciling and reporting.
Thorough knowledge of banking and financial processes, principles, and regulations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in common financial software solutions and spreadsheets.
High-level of analytics and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to maintain professionalism and accuracy in a high-pressure environment.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
