IIQAF is seeking a Reconciliation Officer to join our Finance Team. The Reconciliation Officer is responsible for ensuring accuracy in the reconciliation of accounts and information, as well as providing insights and suggestions to staff on matters related to reconciliation and financial accounting.
Responsibilities
Reconcile accounts by ensuring accuracy in all bookkeeping records and transactions
Prepare and review reconciliations of accounts, statements, inventories etc
Help maintain accounting books and records, write off bad debt, manage cash receipts, and reconcile accounts
Monitor program and accounting changes to ensure accuracy in reconciliations
Help identify errors or discrepancies in reconciliations, assist with corrective action, analyze financial trends, and provide insights and suggestions to staff to improve accuracy and financial controls
Requirements
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance
3 years experience in accounting/finance and/or reconciliation
Proficient with Excel and other financial tools
Ability to work independently, as well as in a fast-paced team environment
Attention to detail and analytic skills
Ability to understand and analyze financial statements
Ability to multitask in a complex environment
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and laws
Good communication and interpersonal skills
