Position : NDT SPECIALIST(LEVEL III)
Overview: Responsible for doing relevant NDT as per procedure.
Specific personnel qualifications/experience:
Basic engineering degree and Twelve (12) years of working experience in the oil and gas industry of which Six (6) years must be in the Offshore with similar project in in this role. Qualified and Certified NDT Operator Level III holding valid ISO 9712 Certificate CSWIP, AWS, API, PCN. Strong knowledge and experience in various NDT methods. Ability to interpret complex technical data and reports. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and colleagues. Proficient in NDT software and equipment handling.
Primary functions:
1. Oversee and ensure the proper implementation of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods.
2. Conduct and supervise NDT inspections in compliance with industry standards.
3. Prepare and review NDT procedures and reports for accuracy and compliance.
4. Provide guidance and training to junior NDT personnel.
5. Ensure that all NDT activities adhere to safety and quality standards.
6. Liaise with clients and other departments to ensure successful project completion.
7. Manage and oversee NDT equipment calibration and maintenance.
8. Review and approve inspection results and ensure timely reporting to clients.
