to oversee and manage non-destructive testing (NDT) activities, particularly in
Radiographic Testing (RT)
. The ideal candidate will hold
ASNT ACCP Level 3 certification
or
CSWIP/PCN Level 2 in RT
, and possess strong technical and analytical capabilities to ensure all NDT processes meet industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the technical authority for NDT activities, primarily in
RT
, but also oversee other NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, VT, etc.).
Interpret codes, standards, and specifications to develop written NDT procedures and techniques.
Review and approve NDT procedures, results, and reports.
Provide guidance and supervision to NDT Level 1 and 2 technicians.
Coordinate with clients, third-party inspectors, and QA/QC departments for inspection schedules and approvals.
Perform audits, assess NDT personnel qualifications, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions in case of NDT-related issues or rejections.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure traceability of inspections.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
in Engineering (Mechanical, Metallurgical, or equivalent).
of relevant NDT experience, including time spent in Level 2 and supervisory or technical roles.
Strong knowledge of industry codes (ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, etc.).
Familiar with fabrication and welding inspection, radiographic interpretation, and film evaluation.
Experience in Oil & Gas, fabrication yards, pipelines, or pressure equipment preferred.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
