NDT Coordinator - Level III

Minimum Qualification

- Diploma/Graduate and Level III as per the requirement of


ASNT SNT-TC-1A in AUT, Radiography testing ,Ultrasonic Testing, Penetrant testing


and Magnetic particle testing methods.




Minimum 10 years of experience as NDT Level III. Shall have experience in PIPELINE


projects and specifically AUT and RTR qualifications and onsite review and approvals of


relevant NDT reports as per DNV and API requirements.




NDT coordinator shall also have, as a minimum, 10 years post certification


experiences. Good knowledge in international codes and standards of PIPELINE and


NDT. Will work as an NDT coordinator cum Supervisor and duties as listed below but


not limited to:


a. Submission of procedures and development of NDT plan, scanning plan ect.


Identifying the requirements of calibration blocks and preparing the sketches for blocks.


b. Specifying and running of procedure qualification tests.


c. Control of all NDT activities.


d. Data collection, update, maintenance, and reporting.


e. Ensuring the availability of adequate NDT equipment and manpower resources.


f. Ensuring equipment calibration register is maintained.


g. Review and endorse all NDT reports issued by the NDT operatives.


h. Ensure and witness that the mandatory checks on NDT equipment and consumables


are carried out and reported in accordance with applicable specifications and


manufactures 'recommendations.


i. Ensure that the examination coverage satisfies the requirements defined in the


specifications.


j. Ensure that all NDT operatives/technicians have access to all required specifications,


drawings, procedures, and records required for performance of work.


k. Coordinate with Client level III and QA/QC for all NDT activities in the project,


L. Supervise, Manage and coordinate Qcon NDT works in the project.
