Job Description

Key Responsibilities:



Prepare and manage BOQs

based on IFC/shop drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Conduct

detailed quantity take-offs

and cost estimation for MEP works. Review tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings for pricing. Assist in

bid preparation and procurement processes

, including floating inquiries and evaluating quotations. Support

contract administration

including preparation of subcontracts and review of contract terms. Prepare and submit

interim payment applications

and monitor payment certifications. Handle

variations, change orders, and claims

in coordination with site teams and management. Verify

subcontractor invoices

, quantities, and site measurements. Monitor and report on

project costs, cash flows, and budget deviations

. Liaise with site teams, consultants, and clients to resolve commercial and contractual issues.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying

,

Mechanical/Electrical Engineering

, or a related discipline. 4-5 years of experience specifically in

MEP contracting

. Good understanding of

HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, and Electrical

systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting MEP drawings and specifications. Knowledge of

contract standards

(FIDIC or similar). Proficient in

MS Excel, AutoCAD

, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar). Strong organizational and communication skills. Preferably speaking Arabic
