Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (MEP) - Construction

We are seeking an experienced

MEP Quantity Surveyor

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in

Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP)

works within the

construction industry

and will be responsible for managing all costs related to MEP packages from initial estimates to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for MEP works. Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings, plans, and other documents. Track project progress and monitor variations and cost implications. Evaluate and verify subcontractor/supplier invoices and claims. Participate in contract negotiation, award, and administration for MEP works. Prepare interim and final valuations and payment applications. Ensure compliance with contract terms and project specifications. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams for accurate cost control and reporting.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 4-6 years of UAE experience in MEP quantity surveying within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of local market rates, contracts (FIDIC preferred), and MEP systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar). Good understanding of project drawings, specifications, and construction methods. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
