We are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to handle all cost estimation, contract administration, and quantity measurement for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works in our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate cost control, timely valuations, and effective coordination with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for MEP works.
Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
Evaluate and certify subcontractor payments and variations.
Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
Review and negotiate contracts, claims, and change orders for MEP packages.
Liaise with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure material and labor costs are in line with estimates.
Prepare progress and financial reports for management and clients.
Analyze and resolve commercial issues related to MEP works.
Ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and industry standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Quantity Surveyor in the
construction industry
, preferably in the UAE.
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, materials, and installation methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost management software.
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and UAE construction laws.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
