Job Title: Quantity Surveyor with Joinery/Fit-Out & Interior Design Expertise

Location: Dubai, UAE

Employment Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities) for civil construction, fit-out, and interior design projects. Conduct cost analysis for materials, labor, and subcontractor packages (especially for high-end finishes, joinery, and MEP fit-outs). Monitor project budgets, track variations, and provide cost forecasting. Source and negotiate with specialist subcontractors (carpentry, cabinetry, flooring, and decorative works). Evaluate tender submissions and recommend award decisions. Manage contracts (FIDIC, JCT, or bespoke agreements) for fit-out and interior packages. Review interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts. Ensure accurate payment certifications for subcontractors and suppliers. Handle variation orders and change management for design modifications. Provide monthly cost reports, cash flow projections, and profitability analysis. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising design integrity. Mitigate risks related to delays, material shortages, and design changes. Work closely with architects, interior designers, and project managers to align budgets with design intent. Advise on value engineering for bespoke joinery, finishes, and FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment). Resolve commercial disputes related to fit-out and interior works.

Requirements:

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Building contracting (High rise Buildings) in the UAE or GCC. Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

Pay: AED1,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
