is seeking a

technical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

specialized in

interior fit-out and bespoke joinery

for luxury residential and hospitality projects.
The role demands precision, cost engineering skills, and the ability to translate AutoCAD drawings into reliable estimates and BOQs under tight deadlines.

Job Summary

You will take ownership of the

entire estimation cycle

, from quantity take-offs to commercial submission, covering both

factory fabrication (joinery, finishes, hardware)

and

site execution (fit-out works, supervision, logistics, prelims)

.
You'll collaborate closely with

design, procurement, and project teams

to ensure accuracy, clarity, and commercial competitiveness in every tender.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct

detailed quantity take-offs

from AutoCAD drawings and tender documents. Build accurate

BOQs and cost models

, including materials, fabrication labor, and site prelims. Review and validate design drawings, specifications, and IFC documentation for accuracy. Lead

RFQ processes

, collect and normalize quotations, and negotiate with suppliers/subcontractors. Prepare complete

commercial and technical bid submissions

with basis-of-estimate notes. Support

value engineering

without compromising design integrity. Maintain and update

material, labor, and supplier rate databases

(UAE market). Coordinate with design and technical teams for

clarifications, RFIs, and submittal preparation

. Assist in project handovers by providing final

cost breakdowns and budget reports

.

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

3-7 years in

interior fit-out or joinery estimation

(UAE/GCC experience required).

Technical Skills:

Advanced

AutoCAD

- confident extracting quantities and verifying shop drawings.

Excel mastery

- formulas, lookups, pivot tables, comparative cost sheets. Familiar with

ERP/estimating tools

(Odoo, SAP, or equivalent).

Knowledge Base:

Joinery manufacturing processes (CNC, veneering, finishing, assembly). Fit-out materials and installation sequences. Hardware, finishes, and value engineering techniques.

Commercial Awareness:

Market price benchmarks across UAE/GCC. Proven negotiation skills with subcontractors and vendors.

Soft Skills:

Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and clear written communication. Ability to work under pressure and meet tender deadlines.

Education:

Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering

Language:

Fluent in English (Arabic a plus).

Other:

Must be based in UAE and available for immediate joining.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
