Prepare
detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
Conduct
quantity take-offs
and material calculations for interior fit-out, joinery, and finishing works.
Develop and compile
tender documentation
, including pricing schedules and cost summaries.
Review
tender drawings, specifications, and design details
to identify discrepancies and scope gaps.
Request and analyze
subcontractor and supplier quotations
to support competitive pricing.
Prepare
cost estimates
for materials, labor, and subcontract works in line with market rates.
Coordinate with the
design, procurement, and project management teams
during tender preparation.
Assist in
value engineering and cost optimization
during the pre-contract stage.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree
in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum
3-7 years of experience
in
interior fit-out / joinery / construction projects
.
Strong knowledge of
cost estimation, tendering procedures, and contract administration
.
Proficient in
AutoCAD, MS Excel, or other QS software tools
.
Excellent
numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills
.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of
local market rates and materials
related to interior works.
Experience in
commercial, retail, hospitality, or corporate fit-out projects
