Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have

minimum 4 years of proven experience in joinery and interior fit-out works

in the UAE and will be responsible for managing all costs relating to joinery and commercial projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.

Key Responsibilities

:

Prepare

accurate cost estimates

,

BOQs

, and

budgets

for joinery and fit-out works. Analyze

drawings, specifications, and project documents

to determine project requirements. Manage

tendering processes

, including

subcontractor and supplier negotiations

. Track

variations and change orders

, ensuring proper documentation and cost control. Prepare and submit

interim valuations

,

payment applications

, and

final accounts

. Collaborate closely with

project managers, design teams, and production departments

. Monitor project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and contractual obligations. Evaluate and manage

subcontractor payments

and

site progress reports

. Assist in

value engineering

and

cost optimization

for projects. Ensure compliance with UAE

building regulations and health & safety standards

.

Requirements

:

Bachelor's degree

in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 4+ years of UAE experience

specifically in

joinery and fit-out projects

. Strong knowledge of

local market rates

,

materials

, and

contracting practices

. Proficient in

AutoCAD, MS Excel, and Quantity Take-Off software

. Familiarity with

FIDIC

,

local contract laws

, and

project documentation standards

. Excellent

analytical

,

negotiation

, and

communication skills

. Able to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
