We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Quantity Surveyor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, and contract administration for construction projects, ensuring value for money while meeting quality and legal standards.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare
cost estimates
,bills of quantities (BOQ)
, andtender documents
. Evaluatetenders
,quotations
, andcontractor proposals
. Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process. Prepareinterim valuations
,progress claims
, andfinal accounts
. Conductsite visits
to verify work progress and quality. Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants. Assess and managevariations, change orders
, andclaims
. Preparecost reports
and advise management on financial performance. Ensure all work complies with contractual, legal, and safety requirements.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying
,Civil Engineering
, or related field. Proven experience as aQuantity Surveyor
in the construction or real estate industry. Strong knowledge ofconstruction contracts (FIDIC or similar)
. Proficient inMS Excel
,AutoCAD
, andcost estimation software
. Excellent analytical and negotiation skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Qualifications:
Membership of a professional body (RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is an advantage. Experience in UAE or GCC projects preferred.
