Quantity Surveyor

with expertise in facade and aluminum systems.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Quantity Surveyor

to support the commercial and project teams. This role is critical for ensuring cost efficiency, accurate estimation, and effective contract management throughout the lifecycle of facade and aluminum projects.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Budgeting

Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade and aluminum works, including materials, labor, and logistics. Develop comprehensive cost plans, tender documents, and project budgets. Evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for competitiveness and compliance. Support project teams in cost forecasting, financial planning, and budgeting.

Quantity Surveying

Conduct quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and rate schedules. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing, technical clarifications, and contract terms. Manage negotiations, contract finalization, and ensure favorable commercial terms. Administer and document variations and change orders.

Cost Control & Reporting

Monitor project costs against approved budgets. Implement cost control strategies and identify risks or deviations early. Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and updates for management and stakeholders. Recommend value engineering and cost-saving alternatives where applicable.

Contract Administration

Oversee contractual obligations with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution in line with company processes. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payment applications and work-in-progress evaluations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. 2 to 8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the facade and aluminum industry. Strong knowledge of cost estimation, quantity take-offs, tendering, and contract administration. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant QS software (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc.). Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting and documentation.
