To support our growth, we are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor with expertise in the facade and aluminum sectors to join our commercial team.

As a Quantity Surveyor at Euro Systems, you will play a vital role in managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring effective budget control throughout project lifecycles. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in facade and aluminum project estimation, tendering, cost management, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Estimation & Budgeting:

Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, and logistics for facade and aluminum projects. Develop comprehensive cost plans, tender documents, and budgets aligned with project requirements. Analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and cost efficiency. Support project managers in cost forecasting and financial planning.

Quantity Surveying:

Perform precise quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and rate schedules for procurement and tender processes. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical clarifications. Negotiate and finalize contracts ensuring favorable commercial terms. Manage variations and change orders with appropriate documentation and approvals.

Cost Control & Reporting:

Monitor and control project costs against budgets throughout execution. Implement cost control strategies and risk mitigation plans proactively. Provide regular cost reports, forecasts, and updates to management and stakeholders. Recommend value engineering solutions and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist resource planning and ensure budget alignment with execution teams.

Contract Administration:

Manage contractual obligations with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with terms. Handle claims, variations, disputes, and resolutions according to company procedures. Ensure timely processing of payments and evaluation of work-in-progress claims.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. 2 to 8 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the facade and aluminum industry. Strong expertise in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately. Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software such as PlanSwift or Bluebeam. Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
