Quantity Surveyor

who brings expertise in the facade and aluminum sectors.

We are seeking a

qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor

to join our team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring project cost efficiency, accurate estimation, and effective budget control throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in facade and aluminum project estimation, tendering, cost management, and contract administration.

Key ResponsibilitiesCost Estimation & Budgeting

Prepare detailed cost estimates for facade and aluminum projects, including materials, labor, and logistics. Develop comprehensive

cost plans, tender documents, and budgets

in line with project specifications. Analyze supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure competitiveness and cost efficiency. Support project managers with cost forecasting and financial planning.

Quantity Surveying

Perform

accurate quantity take-offs

from architectural and structural drawings. Prepare

Bills of Quantities (BOQs)

and rate schedules for procurement and tendering. Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing and technical clarifications. Negotiate and finalize contracts while securing favorable commercial terms. Assess and manage

variations and change orders

, ensuring proper documentation and approval.

Cost Control & Reporting

Monitor and control project costs versus budgets throughout the project lifecycle. Implement proactive cost control strategies and risk mitigation measures. Provide regular cost reports, forecasts, and financial updates to management and stakeholders. Recommend

value engineering solutions

and identify cost-saving opportunities. Assist in resource planning and budget alignment with execution teams.

Contract Administration

Manage contractual obligations with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to terms. Handle claims, variations, disputes, and resolution in line with company procedures. Ensure timely processing of payments and evaluation of work-in-progress claims.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in

Quantity Surveying

,

Construction Management

, or a related field.

2 to 8 years

of relevant experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the

facade and aluminum industry

. Strong knowledge of

quantity take-off

,

cost estimation

,

tendering

, and

contract administration

. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., PlanSwift, Bluebeam, etc.). Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
