Senior Quantity Surveyor (QS)
with in-depth experience in facade and aluminum systems to join our expert team.
Position Summary:
As a
Senior Quantity Surveyor
, you will be responsible for driving
cost efficiency, commercial management, and contract administration
across facade and aluminum projects. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, clients, and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost planning, financial tracking, and contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:Cost Estimation & Budgeting:
Prepare detailed and accurate
cost estimates
for facade and aluminum systems (materials, labor, equipment).
Develop
cost plans, tender documents, and budgets
in alignment with technical drawings and client requirements.
Evaluate and benchmark supplier/subcontractor quotations to ensure
cost-effectiveness
.
Work with project teams to
forecast costs
and assess financial risks.
Quantity Surveying:
Perform
quantity take-offs
based on architectural and engineering drawings.
Prepare and maintain
Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
and pricing schedules for procurement and tendering.
Assist in
supplier selection
and support
contract negotiations
.
Manage
project variations
, ensuring timely issuance of change orders and assessment of cost/time impact.
Cost Control & Reporting:
Monitor
actual costs vs. budgeted figures
, identifying deviations and corrective actions.
Generate detailed
cost reports, financial forecasts, and variance analyses
.
Recommend
value engineering options
to improve profitability and resource optimization.
Contract Administration:
Draft, review, and manage
contracts
with suppliers, subcontractors, and service providers.
Ensure strict
compliance with contractual terms
, mitigating potential claims and disputes.
Lead
final account preparation
and contract close-out in accordance with company policies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in
Quantity Surveying, Construction Management
, or a related field.
Minimum of
5 years of QS experience
within the
facade and aluminum industry
in the GCC.
Solid knowledge of
construction methods, material specifications
, and commercial practices specific to facades.
Proficiency in tools such as
CostX, Bluebeam, MS Excel
, and other QS software.
Strong ability to read and interpret
complex technical and architectural drawings
.
Excellent
numerical, analytical

reporting
skills.
Effective
communication, negotiation

team collaboration
abilities.
