Euro Systems is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented

Quantity Surveyor (QS)

with expertise in the facade and aluminum industries to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects while ensuring cost efficiency and strict budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

Estimate material, labor, and other costs associated with facade and aluminum projects. Develop detailed cost plans, budgets, and tender documents based on project specifications. Analyze and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure value for money. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to monitor and forecast project costs.

Quantity Surveying:

Perform quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings for facade and aluminum components. Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and schedules of rates for tendering and procurement. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Negotiate and finalize contracts with vendors ensuring favorable terms. Manage variations and change orders, assessing impact on costs and schedules.

Cost Control and Reporting:

Monitor project costs against budgets and identify deviations. Implement cost control measures to mitigate risks and enhance profitability. Prepare accurate, timely cost reports and forecasts for stakeholders. Recommend cost-saving opportunities and value engineering initiatives. Collaborate with project teams to optimize resource allocation.

Contract Administration:

Administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Manage claims, disputes, and resolution processes per company policies. Ensure timely payments and performance adherence.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Proven experience of 02- 08 years , as a Quantity Surveyor in the facade and aluminum industries. Strong knowledge of quantity take-off, cost estimation, and contract administration. Excellent analytical, numerical, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications accurately. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in reporting.
