We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Estimation Engineer
with proven experience in the
UAE interior fit-out industry
. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications, project timelines, and budgetary requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost breakdowns, and material take-offs.
Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams to gather data and validate pricing.
Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain up-to-date pricing for materials and services.
Conduct site visits to assess project scope, verify quantities, and identify potential cost impacts.
Evaluate technical submissions and ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
Participate in tendering processes and assist in bid preparation and submission.
Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost without compromising on quality.
Support project handover and track estimation accuracy against actual project costs.
Maintain a database of historical costs and vendor prices for future reference.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum
1-3 years of UAE experience
in estimation within the
interior fit-out industry
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of local market rates, materials, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, CCS Candy, or equivalent).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
