Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented

QS / Cost Controller / Estimator

with strong experience in

Joinery, Civil, and Aluminum works

. The candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, analyzing project risks, and ensuring the financial feasibility and cost-efficiency of all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities :Estimation & Tendering:

Analyze architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications. Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for joinery, civil, and aluminum works. Quantify material, labor, and equipment requirements. Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Participate in tender submissions and cost proposals. Value engineer solutions and identify potential cost savings.

Quantity Surveying:

Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on drawings and specifications. Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with actual costs. Evaluate and verify subcontractor and supplier payments. Measure and certify completed work on-site. Handle variations, change orders, and claims.

Cost Control & Reporting:

Develop and maintain project cost plans and reports. Track project expenses and prepare cost-to-complete forecasts. Monitor financial progress and flag deviations from approved budgets. Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations to management. Support procurement by validating commercial terms and quantities.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field. Minimum 5 years' experience in estimation and cost control, specifically in

joinery, civil, and aluminum

scopes. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation software (e.g., Candy, Bluebeam, PlanSwift). Strong knowledge of local market rates and suppliers. Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. Strong communication and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in fit-out or interior contracting companies. Knowledge of UAE/Dubai municipality standards and regulations. Driving license
