Position Overview
Azizi Developments is seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor specializing in cost planning for civil works to join our pre-contract team in Dubai. This role is critical in defining and refining project budgets at the early stages, supporting feasibility studies, and ensuring cost-effective design development for our landmark real estate projects.

What You'll Do

• Prepare detailed cost plans during the early phases of real estate development projects, supporting feasibility studies and financial planning
• Collaborate closely with the design team to align conceptual designs with budgetary constraints and provide proactive cost advice
• Assist in developing procurement strategies and value engineering proposals to optimize project economics
• Refine cost estimates throughout design evolution, conducting regular cost checks and risk analyses
• Support the preparation of tender documents and ensure financial due diligence is maintained
• Prepare accurate and structured Bills of Quantities (BOQ), ensuring itemization, consistency, and compliance with industry standards
• Coordinate with internal departments and external consultants to ensure cost control is maintained through all pre-contract stages

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering
• Proven experience in cost planning, ideally within a cost consultancy or developer environment
• Strong background in pre-contract quantity surveying for civil and infrastructure works
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and cost planning tools such as Planswift or BIM software
• Meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a proactive approach to budget alignment
• Effective communication skills and ability to liaise across multidisciplinary teams
