Job Purpose:
To take a lead role in the Quality Control function by supervising and ensuring total quality control of all repairs carried out, and to report any test failures or additional jobs identified during road testing.
Key Responsibilities
Financials

• Ensure that all repairs are carried out in accordance with the job advice.
• Report any additional repairs identified during road testing.

Strategic Implementation

• Review customer verbatim reported in the repair order and ascertain diagnostic/repair requirements based on vehicle dynamic or static testing.
• Assist the team/technician in diagnosing complex cases by providing information on complaint occurrence conditions.
• Conduct post-service/repair vehicle testing (dynamic/static) to confirm that services and repairs meet quality standards.
• Support the Workshop Manager in preparing F1 analysis reports.

Customer Journey

• Assist Front Line/Service Advisor in pre-testing, if necessary, to capture the occurrence of complex complaints through joint testing with the customer.

Learning & Growth

• Demonstrate initiative in training and self-improvement opportunities provided by management.

Policies, Procedures, and Corporate Governance

• Test drive vehicles within the permitted speed limits.
• Ensure vehicles are driven on the road only for testing purposes, adhering strictly to traffic rules.
• Verify that all necessary documents/registration cards are present in the vehicle before proceeding with a road test.
• Perform quality testing as per the Quality Check Sheet and ensure all findings are recorded accurately.

Educational Qualification

• Degree or 3-year Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.

Work Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in a dealership, including a minimum of 2 years at a supervisory level.

Competencies

• Working knowledge of digital tools used in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Languages

• English is mandatory.
