Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator cum Purchaser, located in Dubai. The Quantity Surveyor/Purchaser will be responsible for preparing and monitoring budgets, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing costs to ensure value for money, and accurately assessing project progress. Additionally, the role includes preparing detailed reports and cost estimates, collaborating with project managers, ensuring compliance with contractual commitments, and handling cost control activities.

Qualifications

Experience with Cost Control, Cost Management, Cost Planning, and Cost Reporting Proficiency in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Ability to work effectively on-site and coordinate with project teams Previous experience in the construction industry is a must

Pre-Contract Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budget forecasts, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Should be professional in Quantity take off and filling tender Bids and bid evaluations, and contract negotiations. Advise on procurement strategies and support tendering and subcontractor selection. Conduct cost planning, value engineering, and risk analysis.
