Job Description

The Draftsman-cum-Quantity Surveyor is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings and providing accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for ongoing and upcoming projects. This hybrid role requires strong technical drafting skills combined with solid knowledge of measurements, BOQs, and cost analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Drafting Duties

Prepare detailed 2D using Auto CAD software. Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions as required. Develop Coordinated drawings after receiving the survey details from site. Prepare the drawings for NOC purpose.

2. Quantity Surveying Duties

Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications. Analyse historical project data and market trends to establish the budget. Assist in evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations. Evaluate labour, material, equipment, and subcontractor (Resource calculations) costs to determine total project pricing Develop cost-saving strategies and value engineering solutions after awarding of work Take productivity, fuel consumption and data from the site and maintain DATA Bank.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings accurately. Strong analytical and numerical skills Computer knowledge (MS Word& Excel & Auto CAD) and fluent in English
