. The ideal candidate should have strong creative skills combined with technical expertise in producing detailed
production drawings
for joinery, carpentry, and upholstery works. This role requires hands-on experience in transforming design concepts into executable drawings for our fabrication and site teams.
Responsibilities:
Develop interior design concepts in line with client requirements and project specifications
Create accurate and detailed production drawings for carpenters, upholsterers, and site execution
Coordinate with project managers and workshop teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of drawings
Use AutoCAD and other relevant software to prepare technical drawings, shop drawings, and layout plans
Select and specify materials, finishes, and design elements suitable for production
Conduct site measurements and inspections when required
Maintain consistency with project timelines and drawing submission schedules
Requirements:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in interior design and drafting (preferably in joinery or fit-out industry)
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
,
SketchUp
, and basic rendering tools
Strong knowledge of materials, joinery detailing, and interior finishes
Ability to produce
production-ready technical drawings
Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
