Job Summary:

The QA/QC Engineer will oversee quality assurance and control for HVAC and MEP projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and client requirements. The role involves inspections, audits, coordination with project teams, and ensuring defect-free installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement QA/QC procedures and inspection plans for HVAC and MEP works. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to project specifications and standards. Review drawings, material submittals, and test plans for completeness and compliance. Monitor materials, equipment, and workmanship for technical and safety standards compliance. Prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans. Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, and clients to resolve quality issues timely. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist in preparing quality documentation for project closeout and handover. Maintain inspection logs, checklists, and records as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 4-6 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in HVAC or construction projects (UAE/GCC preferred). Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, codes, and standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, etc.). Experience with inspection procedures, testing methods, and site auditing. Proficient in Microsoft Office, report writing, and document control systems. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage quality-related challenges efficiently. Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards. UAE driving license is an advantage.
