Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven

Purchasing Executive - Local Procurement

with strong knowledge of the UAE local market and an established network of reliable vendors relevant to our line of business.

The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing local purchases, negotiating commercially competitive terms, onboarding new suppliers, and working efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Handle

end-to-end local procurement

activities for assigned product categories Identify, evaluate, and onboard

new local suppliers

aligned with company requirements Maintain strong relationships with existing local vendors to ensure continuity of supply Independently negotiate

pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules

Source alternative suppliers during shortages or urgent requirements Ensure timely availability of materials while optimizing cost, quality, and delivery Coordinate closely with sales, warehouse, and accounts teams Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supplier performance Maintain accurate purchase records and documentation within the ERP system Work under pressure to meet urgent and high-volume purchase requirements

Skills & Requirements

Strong knowledge of

local UAE suppliers and market dynamics

Proven ability to

negotiate independently

and close commercial deals Experience in sourcing products relevant to consumables, packaging, or trading businesses Proficient in

MS Office

(Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, tracking, and analysis Hands-on experience working with

ERP systems

for purchase orders, GRNs, and supplier records Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a

high-pressure environment

Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in local purchasing within the UAE Experience in consumables, packaging, hospitality, retail, or QSR supply is a strong advantage
