Job Description
The primary role of a Purchasing Executive is to be responsible for all transactional purchasing activities and to ensure effective service is provided to all departments as per Procurement and Contracts plan.
- Manage transactional purchasing activities against set long term agreements and contracts.
- Manage spot purchasing for non-contract material and services.
- Facilitate identification of spend categories for potential contracts.
- Coordinate with other departments on their purchasing requirements and ensure high level of consolidation.
- Manage key supplier relationships.
- Coordinate with procurement & contracts section to ensure seamless cross-department processes.
- Promote automation to reduce transaction cycle time.
- Monitor performance of suppliers.
- Define and monitor KPI\'s of suppliers.
- Manage budget and monitor it regularly.
- Provide performance data as requested by management.
- Perform other tasks given by the line manager or senior management.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
- Bachelor\'s (Preferred)
