Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Officer with a strong background in interior fit-out or construction materials procurement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials such as wood, hardware, fittings, and other supplies required for manufacturing kitchens, wardrobes, and wooden doors.

-Responsibilities:

Source and purchase materials related to interior works (wood panels, hardware, accessories, etc.) Maintain and develop relationships with local and international suppliers Compare quotations and negotiate for best pricing and payment terms Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely supply Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with production for material requirements Evaluate supplier performance and update approved vendor lists Ensure compliance with company procurement policies Coordinate with accounts and warehouse for timely payments and material receipts Stay updated with market trends and pricing
Requirements:

Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Purchase Officer in interior fit-out or construction Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery materials (e.g., MDF, plywood, hinges, laminates, handles, etc.) Good negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple suppliers and procurement requests Proficient in MS Office and procurement software (experience in Odoo is a plus) Strong organizational and time management skills Must be currently based in the UAE Driving license is a plus Currently on Visit Visa or Cancelled Visa

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
