Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchase Manager specializing in mobiles and tablets procurement on a global scale. As a Purchase Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring mobile devices and tablets at the best price while ensuring high quality and timely delivery. Your expertise in the mobiles and tablets market, supplier management, and cost optimization will be instrumental in driving our procurement strategies. Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify reputable suppliers/vendors of mobiles and tablets globally.
- Evaluate suppliers based on their product quality, pricing, reliability, and delivery capabilities.
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions, including price, volume discounts, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT departments, to understand mobile and tablet requirements and align procurement strategies accordingly.
- Optimize costs through effective negotiation, value engineering, and exploring alternative sourcing options.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the mobiles and tablets industry.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply-demand dynamics to make informed procurement decisions.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Oversee the entire procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews of suppliers and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Purchase Manager or Procurement Manager, preferably with a focus on mobiles and tablets.
- Strong knowledge of the global mobiles and tablets market, including key players, trends, and technologies.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, interpret market trends, and make data-driven procurement decisions.
- Proficient in contract management and understanding legal terms and conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders and build relationships with suppliers.
- Familiarity with mobile procurement tools, software, and cloud-driven mobile applications is a plus.
