Job Description
Job Summary
Procure raw, packaging and indirect materials, services & CapEx at optimum prices to deliver business a competitive edge by implementing of purchase processes & systems and ensuring strong internal customer orientation & a robust supplier relationship
Roles & Responsibilities
- Buy materials as per business requirements and ensure continuous supply of materials (right quantity at right quality & right price) to all Business Units. Help framing Procurement Strategies to deliver Supply Chain objectives.
- Get involved in ‘Cost Optimization’ Group practices and material budget preparation.
- Ensure implementation of procurement processes and systems and work on improvement plans.
- Spend management of key categories under guidance of Purchase Manager. Leverage on Group procurement buying.
- Help developing ‘Vendor Performance Rating’ mechanism and share with the vendors and plan improvement through VPIC and Supplier Coordination meeting
- Directly interact with key suppliers and maintain positive and effective business relationships with them in line with the business strategies.
- Negotiate prices with suppliers and ensure spend within budget
- Ensure strong Internal Customer Relationship while dealing with various business stakeholders.

Work experience requirement
5 – 8 years of work experience in Food FMCG sector
Qualification
- MBA / Materials Management
- For PM : A Degree from a reputed Packaging Institute
- For IMSC: An Engineering background
