The Pump Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of water pumps, booster systems, and related plumbing equipment across residential and commercial properties managed by the company. The technician ensures smooth functioning of all pump systems to maintain uninterrupted water supply and pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of all water pumps, booster pumps, and sump pumps.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults in pump systems.
Monitor and maintain water tank levels, control panels, and pressure settings.
Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards during all maintenance tasks.
Maintain detailed service records and report issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and building caretakers for corrective maintenance.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns or tenant complaints.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new pump systems.
Maintain tools, materials, and spare parts inventory efficiently.
Requirements:
ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing field.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Pump Technician (preferably in building maintenance or property management).
Good knowledge of water supply systems, pump types, valves, and pressure controls.
Ability to read and understand basic electrical/mechanical diagrams.
Physically fit and able to work in high-temperature and confined environments.
Basic communication skills in English or Hindi.
UAE experience and valid UAE driving license are an advantage.
