We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public Relations Officer to join our team in Dubai. As a PR Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the reputation of Freelan through effective communication and relationship building with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement PR strategies to promote the company's brand and services
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers
- Create and distribute press releases, media kits, and other promotional materials
- Organize and coordinate press events, interviews, and other media opportunities
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide reports to management
- Respond to media inquiries and manage any crisis communications
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation
- Plan and execute PR campaigns to support product launches and other initiatives
- Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and partnerships
- Stay updated on industry trends and news to identify potential PR opportunities
- Manage the company's social media presence and engage with followers on various platforms
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a PR role, preferably in the UAE
- Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in crisis management and handling sensitive information
- Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools
- Familiarity with the UAE media landscape and cultural sensitivities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficient in MS Office and other PR software and tools
